HVMV substation engineer — Rabat · ALTEN · EmploiBoostJob description
- Develop and maintain high-voltage electrical drawings and engineering documentation for 110 kV / 15 kV substations using Engineering Base (E-Base)
- Create and update single-line diagrams wiring diagrams terminal plans and interconnection schematics
- Define and manage interfaces between switchgear protection systems control-command systems and auxiliary AC/DC power supplies
- Produce and maintain engineering deliverables including cable schedules signal lists equipment lists and technical documentation
- Analyze customer requirements and ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and project specifications
- Perform technical reviews and validate the quality and consistency of engineering documentation
- Assess design changes and evaluate their impact on substation architecture and system interfaces
- Support troubleshooting activities and contribute to root cause analysis of technical issues
- Propose and implement technical solutions to ensure system reliability and project compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare technical reports review minutes and design documentation in English
- Ensure compliance with project milestones engineering processes and quality objectives
Qualifications :
Profile :
- Masters degree (BAC5) in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the design of HV/MV substations
High-Voltage Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of High-Voltage (HV) and Medium-Voltage (MV) substations and electrical distribution systems
- Experience in developing and reviewing high-voltage electrical drawings including single-line diagrams wiring diagrams and interconnection schematics
- Good understanding of protection control-command and auxiliary power supply systems

- Ability to work in an international project environment
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- German is considered a plus but not mandatory.
